Dragons • Four Monarchs |

Multi-Faction • Casual |
Probably not worth doing. |
Trickless | Ian Lee | September 27, 2022 |
Shadow Syndicate |
Classic |
Mono-Faction |
Syndicate might as well get in on the Tech gravy train. Get a Dockyard or Triad in opening hand or this is going to be embarrassing. |
60 Modern Names of Lotus Monarch Stuff | Ian Lee | September 27, 2022 |
Eaters of the Lotus • Four Monarchs |
Modern • 100 Names |
Multi-Faction • Competitive |
I got tired of Lotus in Modern. I never got that excited by Monarchs in Modern. But, I still love the individual cards. So, play lots of them. There are lots of possible changes. Foundations are low. FSSs are low. Events probably have to be taken out to make room. |
Never Meanin' No Harm | Earl Miles | September 27, 2022 |
Dragons |

This deck relies on being able to pump out lots of Dragon resources quickly, so that the Good ol' Boys end up in the 2/6 range, and are easily brought back. |

3-player • 4-player • Competitive |
Use Apprenticeship to churn out 10s of Student tokens to increase the size of Wandering Hero and Great Teacher Chow. Use CB Radio to give them all tactics and back out when they get intercepted. |
"Picking Up the Mantle" | Jason Ketcham | September 22, 2022 |
Eaters of the Lotus |
Modern |
3-player • 4-player • Mono-Faction • Competitive |
The amount of power this deck cranks out is lunacy. And you're going to need it to bring back The Mantle over and over and over again for the board to stay consistently wiped as you walk a clear path to site taking victory. |
"Don't Get M.A.D. Get Even" | Jason Ketcham | September 22, 2022 |
Jammers |
Modern |
3-player • Competitive |
This deck can feel like it has split goals but they actually end up complimenting each other; Heavy Tech and then using the Punk and Fanatic designators to give your opponents hell. An early Machine Warrior is a slam dunk Site grab and if you burn a couple Tech. |
Eunuch - CiA | Isaac Cochran | September 20, 2022 |

|
"Thunder Men on Ice(The Musical)" | Jason Ketcham | September 11, 2022 |
Four Monarchs |
Comrades in Arms |
Mono-Faction • Competitive |
Comrades in Arms can be tough and I felt like I landed on solid ground with the ability to build outside the Thunder designator a bit, what with the core cards offered not being terribly amazing outside of Knight Templar, Beaumains, Huan Ken and Thunder Squire. |
Fall | Ian Lee | September 7, 2022 |

Uses all the Dragon cards that allow you to cut your deck and have cards for free - hence using some of the more expensive Dragon hitters such as The Seven and Kar Fai. |

Get Gorilla Fighters out as fast as possible (and cheaper with Potlach), tune your smoke pile with Valley of Ashes, so that when you pull out of a 'random' character, it is always Gorilla Fighter. |

Architects of the Flesh |
Classic |
3-player • 4-player • Mono-Faction • Tournament winner • Competitive |
Kublacon 2022 Tournament Winning deck which is both thematically and functionally my favorite deck. Scientists enabling the most powerful Abominations you can build. What gives the deck its strength is it can aggro and it can play the long game equally well. |
