It's not a pipe dream and it will work this time. I don't live in a hotel and I have doubles of every classic car. |

Eaters of the Lotus |

Blossoms of the Black Lotus was a deck I had built for just a simple experience, not terrible for lending to inexperienced player. It has the same problem that other Modern Lotus decks have of creating big sticks that don't evade anything. The old deck had a terrible foundation base; I was runn |

Mostly magic-free, built around Xin Ji Yang, one of only a couple modern hitters who has an evasive ability. Hoping Empty Gesture and the sites shore up the lack of good economy cards. |

Revivication Shard looking like one avenue to modern competitiveness. A little awkward in that Hail of Skulls is the best for it, but singlehandedly makes magic necessary. |

While I didn't play two of my first picks - 2x Golden Comeback, because nobody else was drafting Hand enough to affect me, I ended up with a far more coherent pure Hand deck than I expected. The weakness is in the FSSs as I didn't prioritize. Funny that ended up with a Dockyard. |

4-player • Multi-Faction • Tournament winner • Competitive |
This deck shoots for the long game and can close with White Ninja and Noriko Watson. Facilitators improve the value of Solar Flares. When reloading cards, the order of priority seems to be: 1) Fortune of the Turtle, 2) Solar Flare, and 3) Elephant Gun. |
Lantern Festival 2024 | Glospey | February 8, 2024 |
Four Monarchs |
Classic |
Multi-Faction |
Monarch / Syndicate recursion deck for Lantern Festival Tournament 2024. Designed FOR the tournament but I think it would probably work in normal play, too. It's almost certainly not competitive but then, none of my decks are :P |
[PlayingBothEnds] Paratroopers All Day | Drew Wu | January 21, 2024 |
Ascended |
Classic |
3-player • 4-player • Mono-Faction • Competitive |
This deck made it to the finals of the 2024 Playing Both Ends online tournament. It relies on Paratrooper throughout the mid and end game, with support cards that allow multiple attacks, to take FSS. There are some nice tricks with Aquila. |
[BloodOfTheValiant] A Burn In Hand Is Worth Two Ambush | Drew Wu | December 2, 2023 |
Four Monarchs |
Classic |
3-player • 4-player • Mono-Faction • Competitive |
This deck made it to the final table for the 2023 Blood of the Valiant online tournament. It focuses on surprise damage plinking and good ambushing Monarch characters. The plinking synergizes with the states and ambush to take sites. |
Habeus Corpses | Drew Wu | October 31, 2023 |
Eaters of the Lotus |
Classic • Halloween |
3-player • 4-player • Tournament winner • Competitive |
This is a Plague of Moths - Turbo Corpse deck that focuses on bringing out as many powerful 2 cost Lotus characters as possible (most notably Walking Corpses), getting them smoked over time, and returning them with PoM to go for the win. |
Always Surrender | Drew Wu | October 30, 2023 |
Dragons • Seven Masters |
Classic |
3-player • 4-player • Multi-Faction |
This deck expects for its FSS to be attacked and burned, allowing Never Surrender and City Park to be played. After attaining a significant amount of power, play any of the heavy hitters to try and take sites. |
