Blossoms of the Black Lotus was a deck I had built for just a simple experience, not terrible for lending to inexperienced player. It has the same problem that other Modern Lotus decks have of creating big sticks that don't evade anything. The old deck had a terrible foundation base; I was running Esotericist for Magic. This version has a much better way to get Magic to provide some flexibility that just making big Blossoms doesn't.
Specialist existing also changes things significantly ... in theory. I have no idea when I'll play this deck, if ever.
