Site (1 card)

  • 1x Sacred Wigwam
Original creator:
Jason Ketcham

Comrades in Arms can be tough and I felt like I landed on solid ground with the ability to build outside the Thunder designator a bit, what with the core cards offered not being terribly amazing outside of Knight Templar, Beaumains, Huan Ken and Thunder Squire. Ice and Fire have the best Events so really lean in to Brain Fire and Winter's Laugh when your opponents try to zap your powerful Thunder hitters. Use Shock Troops to be a menace when you're intercepting or defending your own Sites. The deck goes all in on Power and Ping Feng Shui Sites and address the CiA Meta. The Fighting is really low here so use Stolen Thunder and Thunder Sword wisely. Ice Blessing and Pocket Demon with Proving Ground give this deck its actual competitive edge because those three cards are all ridiculous. You can create some very swingy game state altering moves with some of the most notoriously brutal cards in the entire game when they hit; Discerning Fire and Avenging Thunder. Aleut Herbalist can be swapped for whatever you prefer, really. Just make sure it's one cost and has that vital Magic talent. 23 cards exactly are what you see here with Thunder as Designator. It all barely comes together but it logged 2 wins and 0 losses since the format week started.Â
